Why Joe Lieberman Needs to Go

As if leftists didn't already have more than enough reasons to get rid of Senator Joe Lieberman (D-Connecticut) after all of his pandering to Bush and his Republican buddies, he gave us yet one more today:

Lieberman said he believes hospitals that refuse to give contraceptives to rape victims for "principled reasons" shouldn't be forced to do so. "In Connecticut, it shouldn't take more than a short ride to get to another hospital," he said.

I'll tell you what, Joe. Let's see you take a short ride to another hospital after you've had a broomstick shoved up your butt and have been refused proper help at your nearest hospital.

Enough is enough. Support his Democratic opponent, Ned Lamont. We've put up with the Republican in Democrats clothing, Lieberman, for far too long. Connecticut and the Democratic Party deserves better.
