After viewing a 30 second clip about the Dubai Ports World deal, Republican senate majority leader and doctor Bill Frist declared he was comfortable with his diagnosis that the deal is not in a persistent vegetative state and that the feeding tube should remain intact.
Meanwhile, back at the House, the Appropriations Committee Chair and part-time comedian Jerry Lewis said starving the beast is the humane thing to do (the deal - not Frist) since there are no signs of intelligent life left in the White House anyway.
Stay tuned for the next episode of Capitol Hospital.
Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of the Republicans slowly dwindling in number each and every day...
