Liberals Who Voted in Favour of Afghanistan Mission

On Wednesday nite, 24 Liberal MPs voted in favour of the Conservative motion to extend Canada's involvement in the Afghanistan mission until 2009. While I attempted to list those MPs as they stood up to vote, the pace was just too quick to keep up. Today, the House of Commons Journal has the complete results of the vote.

Here is my revised list:

Ignatieff
Cuzner
Graham
Peterson
McQuire
Easter
Regan
Brison
Redman
Thibault
Lee
Wappel
Maloney
Cullen
Folco
MacKay
Zed
Savage
Guarnieri
Eyking
Simms
Rota
Bagnell
Tonks

You can see their corresponding ridings here.
All Things Political has the roster of Liberals who did not vote.

The final vote count was: Yeas-149; Nays-145
Independent MP Arthur voted in favour.

The complete debate can be read here.

I would encourage those interested in reading a well-presented statement by an opposition member who voted against the motion to read the floor speech given by Paul Dewar (NDP-Ottawa Centre).
