National Review Outs a Daily Kos Blogger

How low can the NRO go?

The National Review's Media Blog has published the real identity of infamous and controversial Daily Kos blogger Armando. It's been no secret that Armando is a lawyer. He has provided the community with excellent legal analysis on many issues including those involving Supreme Court decisions, nominees and he has also been a tireless opponent of the administration's torture policies.

What the NRO has done is despicable. They used an example of one of Armando's corporate clients to attempt to smear him within the progressive community.

First of all, all people have the right to blog anonymously. The bastards at NRO have displayed, once again, how damn mean some right-wingers can be by using Rovian-like tactics against one of their perceived enemies. What the hell was the point of this outing? What did Armando ever do to them?

Secondly, anyone who knows Armando through his writings knows that, despite his fiery temper (which probably serves him quite well as a lawyer), Armando is true to his left-leaning principles and politics.

Thirdly, Armando has now announced that he will no longer blog at Daily Kos.

That is a mistake.

Don't let the bastards win, Armando. That's not like you at all. Stand tall and stay put.
