FYI: Today's Liberal Leadership Debate & Live Chat

Yes Virginia, there really is another Liberal leadership debate on Saturday. This one's in Quebec.

You can watch it online at CPAC starting at 3 pm ET. To join the live chat here, e-mail me (address on top left) and I'll send you the handy-dandy info ASAP. That way I can practice some troll control. Even if you're not watching the debate and just want to hang out, you're more than welcome.

Now, I think there have been about 32 Liberal leadership debates so far - although there's a margin of error there of +/- 27. Considering that this contest has gone on so long, it seems it would have been much more entertaining if the Libs had just made it into a teevee series like The Amazing Race with candidates teaming up (let's say Iggy and Rae would be one team, for example) while running around all over the country with no money and challenges at every stop (like having their mouths duct-taped while trying to get votes) until they reached their final destination, Parliament Hill, where the final challenge would be to climb to the top of the Peace Tower. Yes, I think that would have been much more fun! And people would actually have watched that race.

Alas, we the viewing public are stuck with the same old debate format. Let's just hope someone either screws up big time or gets totally humiliated (again) so we'll actually have something to chat about.
