JFK: The President and the Press
You can read the speech in its entirety here. While JFK was calling for caution as it related to national security issues at the time, he was also far more open than the Bush administration will ever dream of being, thus the need for serious investigative reporting by the media today to dig into and expose this government's secrets. It's long past time for the MSM to stop being propaganda shills for Bushco, as some were last week following the ridiculous Baghdad briefing when they tried to fearmonger with their headlines that alluded to Iranian government involvement in supplying weapons to Iraqi militias. This administration and its anonymous "officials" need to be called out for what they are: manipulators and liars. No more secrets.
