Election Day Shenanigans

Updated throughout the day...

- The FBI is looking into possible voter intimidation in Virginia.

- South Carolina's governor was turned away from the polls today after he failed to produce his voter registration card. That might have something to do with the fact that he damn near blinded himself on Monday. Or not.

- Ravenous political bloggers are a threat to democracy. Meanwhile, Glenn Reynolds admits he posts crap:

"I'll post it with the caveat that it was all crap last time and will probably be crap again," says Glenn Reynolds of Instapundit.com...

- Robocalling=bad. Republicans=robocalling.

- Seattle voters will be giving lap dancing a thumbs up or thumbs down while the NRA wants to shoot doves in Michigan.

According to Kish, doves are the most populated bird around. They are a good size piece of meat, and they taste good, he said. The only argument heard from non-hunters is that "they are cute little birds," Kish said.

Just how much meat can you get from a dove? Don't they have grocery stores in Michigan? Is there any other symbol of peace the NRA would like to kill?

- Colorado candidate Jay Fawcett's office was vandalized overnight and he also received death threats. 'Thugs' is right.

- It looks like Daniel Ortega is going to win. Whoops...wrong election.

- Here's a nice little map of voting incidents across the US.

- Via Firedoglake, right-wing radio host Laura Ingraham is telling her listeners to call the Dem's voter hotline - clogging up the system. How low can they go?

- A Kentucky poll worker has been charged with assault after allegedly choking a voter. Democracy is on the march!

- There was a bomb threat at a Madison, Wisconsin polling station (a high school, no less) on Tuesday morning. Which country is having these elections again? The Congo?
