Jason Kenney: But the Liberals Did it Too!

Jason Kenney, pinch hitting for Steve during Question Period on Thursday, had to field questions about his government's breaches of the Privacy Act originally revealed by the Montreal Gazette.

Kenney's response: But the Liberals did it too and we're the heroes because we're saying now that people who received the e-mails just deleted them even though they also talked about that reporter during a conference call which must just have been a big coincidence and the Liberals did it too so we're just so vastly superior that we would never do anything like that and did I mention that the Liberals did it too and that we are so saintly that we would never violate anyone's privacy and not only that it's the beaurocrats' fault for giving us that information that we received and kept quiet about all of this time and didn't do anything about until we got caught so now we can just claim that we're morally superior because we're going to investigate what happened because we had our hypocritical asses handed to us on a plate since we covered this up instead of exposing it when it happened because we believe in accountability and...the Liberals did it too!
