Random News & Views Roundup

- Did Richard Armitage really threaten to bomb Pakistan after 9/11? Is there anything else they can possibly pin on him now that he's confessed to outing Valerie Plame too?

- Some sort of deal has been reached between the WH and the renegade senators over the detainee bill that they all seem to be happy about but it would have helped if they'd actually released some details. - Chris Matthews: How can we be in a war and not watch it?

- The Pentagon is set to release a report that debunks the claims that 9/11 could have been prevented via Able Danger. Well, of course they'd deny it. They're the Pentagon.

- Injuries of UK troops in Aghanistan are reportedly being sanitized.
